River Medical Cork is seeking an experienced and passionate Laser & Skin Therapist to join our growing medically-led aesthetics team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside doctors, nurses, and aesthetic professionals in a clinic offering advanced skin, laser, and regenerative treatments.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care while performing advanced skin and laser treatments. You will conduct consultations, create bespoke treatment plans, educate patients on their skincare journey, and help deliver outstanding clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced laser and skin treatments to the highest clinical standards
- Conduct comprehensive skin consultations and treatment planning
- Deliver treatments including laser skin rejuvenation, pigmentation correction, acne treatments, vascular treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, and other advanced skin therapies
- Educate patients on treatment expectations, aftercare, and skincare recommendations
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Ensure strict adherence to clinical protocols, infection control, and safety procedures
- Support the promotion of medical-grade skincare and treatment programmes
- Work collaboratively with the wider medical and administrative team
- Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and stock levels to the highest standards
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with advanced laser and skin treatments
- Relevant qualification in Beauty Therapy, Aesthetics, or Skin Therapy (ITEC, CIDESCO, CIBTAC or equivalent)
- Experience with medical-grade laser platforms and advanced skin treatments
- Excellent consultation and client care skills
- Strong knowledge of skin health, pigmentation, acne, rosacea, and skin rejuvenation treatments
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Desirable
- Experience with Sciton BBL, MOXI, Fotona, Morpheus8, SkinPen, Hydrafacial, or similar advanced technologies
- Experience working within a medical aesthetics clinic
- Knowledge of medical-grade skincare brands
