Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organised, driven, and detail-focused Store Development & Projects Administrator to support our Store Development team with day-to-day administration, project tracking, reporting, supplier coordination, and database management.
This role is suitable for someone who is confident working with Excel, databases, documents, schedules, and follow-ups. The right person must be accurate, reliable, proactive, and able to listen carefully, communicate clearly, and keep information organised.
This is not a role for someone who waits to be told every small step. We need someone with common sense, strong follow-through, and the ability to keep multiple tasks moving at the same time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Development team with daily administration and project coordination.
- Maintain and update Excel trackers, databases, project lists, supplier records, and internal reports.
- Prepare, check, and organise documents, quotes, purchase orders, invoices, forms, and project files.
- Track project progress and follow up on outstanding actions with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and store managers.
- Keep accurate records of works completed, pending issues, costs, timelines, and approvals.
- Assist with communication between store teams, maintenance, contractors, suppliers, and management.
- Help prepare reports, summaries, and updates for senior management.
- Ensure all information is filed correctly and easy to find.
- Monitor deadlines and make sure tasks are followed through properly.
- Support with ordering, scheduling, and general coordination connected to store development works.
- Identify missing information, errors, or delays and escalate them quickly.
- Take notes from meetings or calls and turn them into clear action lists.
Skills and Experience Required
- Very strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
- Good experience working with databases, trackers, or internal systems.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Good listening skills and ability to understand instructions properly.
- Strong common sense and ability to solve basic problems without constant supervision.
- Ability to manage several tasks at the same time.
- Confident following up with people and chasing information when needed.
- Accurate with numbers, documents, and data entry.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment.
- Previous experience in administration, project support, retail, maintenance, construction, or store development would be an advantage.
