Yard Operative required for a busy plant and tool hire business.
This is a permanent position available on a full-time or part-time basis. We would also consider applicants seeking summer employment. The role is based in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and cleaning of hire equipment.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Delivering and collecting hire equipment.
- Carrying out equipment handovers, including instructing customers on the safe and proper use of equipment and demonstrating operation where necessary.
- General yard management and upkeep.
- Performing any other duties as required.
Knowledge and Experience
- Good understanding of machinery and equipment.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work both as part of a team and on your own initiative.
- Full clean driving licence with driving experience essential.
- Category C driving licence is an advantage but not essential.
