Roundtower Hardware is a specialist architectural ironmongery company supplying high-quality hardware to architects, contractors and developers. We’re growing fast and are looking for an Architectural Ironmonger to join our team.
Main Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate ironmongery schedules from drawings and specifications
- Price projects and prepare quotations/tender returns
- Provide technical advice to architects, contractors and clients
- Ensure compliance with fire, accessibility and building regulations
- Liaise with suppliers to select suitable products and obtain pricing/technical data
- Support projects from design stage through to site delivery
Skills & Experience
- Experience in architectural ironmongery (scheduling/specifying/technical sales) or closely related building products role
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and door schedules
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and specifications
- Confident communicator by phone, email and in person
- Good IT skills (Excel, email, general office software)
Nice to Have
- GAI or similar architectural ironmongery training/qualifications (or working towards)
- Knowledge of Irish/UK building regulations and fire/accessibility standards
