Job Description
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with strong mechanical and electrical skills to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining machinery, carrying out repairs, fault finding and supporting the smooth running of the production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
- Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns and minimise downtime.
- Carry out routine inspections and identify potential issues.
- Maintain and repair production machinery and equipment.
- Complete maintenance records and follow health and safety procedures.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure equipment runs efficiently.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a Maintenance Engineer role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with machinery/production equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship is desirable.
