About Us
NuaCell is a doctor-led precision-health and wellness clinic combining medical weight
management, advanced diagnostics and evidence-based lifestyle care. We are seeking a
patient-focused, CORU-registered Dietitian for a varied caseload spanning general dietetic
consultations, GLP-1-supported weight management, and DNA and gastrointestinal testing
services.
This is a hands-on clinical role suited to a dietitian who enjoys combining patient
consultations with detailed assessment, report review and multidisciplinary working. This role
is ideal for an early‑career professional with strong fundamentals but an interest in
genomics, wellness programmes and clinic‑based patient care.
Key Responsibilities
● Conduct initial and review nutrition consultations using the Nutrition Care Process.
Perform comprehensive assessment, nutrition diagnosis, individualised intervention,
SMART goal setting, monitoring, and follow-up planning.
● Review relevant medical records, blood results, medications, investigations, and
clinical history to develop integrated, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle plans.
● Interpret DNA, genetics, and functional lab test results (e.g., NordicLab, GI-MAP,
Zonulin) and translate these findings into actionable, food-first, and personalised
nutrition protocols.
● Support patients receiving GLP-1/GIP-GLP-1 treatments by assessing weight/dietary
history, screening for contraindications, and providing guidance on fiber, protein,
hydration, side-effect management, and long-term behavior change.
● Provide clear, patient-facing consultation summaries, educational resources, and
agreed action plans, ensuring clients understand how genetic/functional markers
influence their health and when further medical review is required.
● Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team (doctors, nurses, therapists, GPs) to
integrate nutrition into broader treatment journeys and ensure safe, coordinated care.
● Identify opportunities for further services or products (e.g., additional testing,
wellness products) to support patient health goals, responsibly engaging in service
recommendations within ethical and professional boundaries.
● Contribute to the design, implementation, and refinement of nutrition/wellness
programs (including DNA-based tracks and functional protocols) and support service
improvement through clinical audits and SOP development.
● Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records and communications using
clinic systems (e.g., Zanda, Socrates, NordicVMS) in strict compliance with GDPR
and clinic policy.
● Stay up-to-date with developments in nutrition science, nutrigenomics, and functional
medicine; contribute to case discussions, internal team learning, and the creation of
client-facing documentation.
● Discuss supplements within professional competence, ensuring appropriate
consideration of allergies, medications, and potential interactions.
Requirements
Essential:
● BSc or MSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. Applicants must hold current CORU
registration or have confirmed eligibility.
● Strong nutrition assessment, counselling, and behavior-change skills, with a patient-
centered approach.
● Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to interpret and
explain complex clinical or diagnostic data clearly.
● Sound professional judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to clinical safety
and documentation standards.
● Collaborative mindset, comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred:
● Interest or experience in medical weight management, GLP-1-supported care,
gastrointestinal nutrition, or metabolic health.
● Familiarity with nutrigenomics, DNA-based nutrition, or similar diagnostic testing.
● Competence with electronic clinical record systems (e.g., Zanda, Socrates,
NordicVMS).
● Some exposure to business development or cross‑selling of wellness services or products
(ideal but not mandatory).
