Role Purpose
The Senior Finance Business Partner will play a key role in strengthening the Retail Finance team by providing commercial finance support, challenge and insight across assigned Retail business areas.
The role will partner closely with senior business stakeholders, the Senior FP&A Manager, wider Finance colleagues and BPS / Infosys to ensure performance is clearly understood, forecasts are robust, risks and opportunities are visible, and financial actions are followed through.
The role will include ownership of Centra and SuperValu cost centres, retailer rebate relationship management, loyalty insight, stock initiatives, Business Development and Store Development support, quarterly balance sheet reviews, and budgeting and forecasting.
Role Shape and Key Interfaces
The role will act as a senior business partner between Finance, business stakeholders and BPS / Infosys. The successful candidate will own the financial responsibility for cost centre management and build strong relationships across:

What you'll be doing:
Retail Cost Centre Business Partnering
Act as Finance Business Partner for assigned Retail business areas, including Centra and SuperValu cost centres, supporting business owners with performance review, forecast development, budget management, financial challenge and action tracking.
Translate trading, cost and operational performance into clear commercial insight, identifying risks, opportunities and required actions.
Support WSOM, POP, RSC, Business Development and Store Development activity through financial analysis, commercial challenge and decision support.
Forecasting, Budgeting and Performance Management
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes for assigned areas, ensuring assumptions are clear, risks and opportunities are visible, and outputs are aligned with business performance trends.
Retailer Rebates and Loyalty
Lead Finance support for retailer rebate activity, including relationship management, query resolution, forecasting, budgeting and governance.
Oversee monthly and exceptional retailer payment cycles, ensuring appropriate review, approval, documentation and follow-up.
BPS / Infosys Operating Model
Act as the primary Finance liaison between Retail Finance Business Partners and Infosys partners, ensuring issues, feedback and improvement opportunities are captured, prioritised and progressed.
Governance, Controls and Balance Sheet

What we are looking for:
Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, variance analysis and performance review.
Experience in retail, FMCG, multi-site, commercial, customer, pricing, margin, promotional, rebate or cost-centre environments would be advantageous.
