RAW Marketing is an experiential and activation agency delivering events, festivals, and live experiences across Ireland.
Working alongside our sister company, Artisan Events, we manage a number of outdoor markets and public events for local authorities and communities. We are currently looking for a Market Operations Supervisor to join our team at Moore Street Market in Dublin City Centre.
The Role
This is a hands-on operational role, ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, leading by example, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
You will oversee the day-to-day operation of Moore Street Market, ensuring traders are supported, the site is presented to a high standard, and all operational requirements are met. The role combines customer service, site management, and physical setup duties.
Initially, we are looking for someone available to work Fridays and Saturdays, with additional days expected to become available as our markets and events programme continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of the market, including stalls, signage, barriers, and equipment
- Coordinate trader arrivals and departures, ensuring smooth and safe operations
- Act as the main on-site point of contact for traders and visitors
- Ensure the market operates safely and in line with all health & safety procedures
- Carry out regular site inspections and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
- Coordinate with the office team regarding logistics, scheduling, and operational requirements
- Resolve on-site issues professionally and efficiently
- Complete basic reporting and communicate any incidents or maintenance requirements
Essential Requirements
- Full, clean driving licence (essential)
- Comfortable carrying out physical work, including lifting and site setup
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Friendly, confident, and professional communication skills
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Previous experience in markets, events, facilities, operations, or a supervisory role is desirable
Desirable Experience
- Experience supervising teams or coordinating day-to-day operations
- Experience working with traders, suppliers, or members of the public
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures
- Basic administrative and reporting skills
Contract Details
- Initially Fridays and Saturdays
- Based at Moore Street Market, Dublin City Centre
- Additional working days available as the programme expands
- Weekend work is a key part of the role
- Excellent opportunity to grow within a busy events and markets team
Pay: €125.00 per day
