Due to new business we are looking for Van Driver with two years experience and a B license, who has a pleasant personality and a friendly smile ! We love food and have a passion for great customer service and carry a huge range of Ethnic and European foodstuffs. Our customers want quality product delivered by friendly drivers who can represent our brand well.
This is a permanent position driving a van.
Essential requirements:
- Over 25, B driving License·
- Excellent driving skills on the road with experience of multi drop deliveries
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Good written and verbal English
- A self-starter with a "can do" attitude
- Flexible to work around operational requirements which may include working outside normal hours to ensure certain deadlines
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote a positive perception of the Company both internally and externally
- Load and unload the vehicles with produce.
- Check orders on and off vehicles
- Undertake pre-loading checks as required
- Completion of Daily Vehicle Checks and completion of all other relevant documentation
- Pre-chill the vehicle to the required standards
- Maintain vehicle temperature control as required for food safety or quality purposes
- Comply with all Health and Safety and hygiene requirements
- Wear Company uniform as provided at all times
- Ensure the vehicle load compartment is maintained in a hygienic condition and associated records are kept up to date
