Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Project Engineer / Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified electrician or graduate engineer who is looking to transition into a project engineering and management role while continuing to develop their technical knowledge and professional career.
The Role
Working closely with our experienced Project Management Team, you will gain hands-on experience in the planning, coordination and delivery of commercial and industrial electrical projects. The role is primarily office-based, with regular visits to project sites throughout Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Contracts Manager with the coordination and delivery of electrical projects.
- Support the Quantity Surveyor with project documentation, procurement and cost tracking.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports and schedules.
- Assist with Health & Safety administration, including site documentation, RAMS and compliance records.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and site teams.
- Attend occasional site visits to monitor project progress and support quality and safety standards.
- Help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Provide general administrative and technical support to the project management team.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A qualification as an electrician or a recent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- A strong interest in project management and Health & Safety.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A full, clean driving licence is desirable.
