Site Foreman Position – Residential Plumbing & Heating (Wicklow)
Heat Connect is currently seeking an experienced Residential Site Foreman to join our growing team, delivering high-quality plumbing and heating installations across new residential housing developments in the Wicklow area.

The Role
As Residential Site Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of plumbing and heating installations across multiple residential housing sites. You will work closely with the Contracts Manager, site management teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily running of domestic plumbing and heating works on residential housing developments.
- Manage and coordinate Heat Connect employees and subcontractors on site.
- Ensure work is completed to programme, within quality standards, and in line with company procedures.
- Plan labour and materials to maintain efficient progress across projects.
- Monitor site progress and provide regular updates to the Contracts Manager.
- Carry out quality inspections and ensure all installations meet current building regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with site managers, main contractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Identify and resolve site issues promptly to avoid delays.
- Lead toolbox talks and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
- Assist with project commissioning, testing, snagging, and final handovers.
- Ensure all relevant site documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Plumber with strong domestic plumbing and heating experience.
- Previous experience as a Site Foreman, Lead Plumber, or in a supervisory role within residential construction.
- Experience managing teams on new-build housing developments.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of current Irish Building Regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Ability to read drawings and coordinate works with other trades.
- Competent using smartphones/tablets for reporting and communication.
