We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking General Operative to join our team on a civil construction project in Galway.
Responsibilities
Assist with general site operations, including groundworks and construction activities.
Follow all company health and safety procedures and site regulations.
Operate tools and equipment safely and appropriately for assigned tasks.
Wear and maintain all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support site supervisors and team members in completing daily work schedules.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Inspect tools and equipment before use and report any defects or damage.
Identify and report potential hazards, accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
Assist with material handling, loading, unloading, and site preparation activities.
Follow instructions from supervisors and work effectively as part of a team.
Promote a positive safety culture and contribute to continuous improvement on site.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Requirements
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid right to work in Ireland.
Full Irish driving licence.
Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certifications.
Previous experience in civil construction, groundworks, or a similar environment is desirable.
Good understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
Pay: €27,000.00-€63,959.49 per year
