The Role
We are looking for a confident and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience and a passion for engaging with customers to drive sales. As our store operates from 4:30 AM to 7 PM, flexibility is essential, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
Please note: Due to the strict security and badging process at Dublin Airport, there is a mandatory waiting period of approximately 6 weeks between being offered the job and your official start date.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
- Engage confidently with customers to drive sales and promote our products.
- Work towards and exceed sales targets by using effective selling techniques.
- Handle transactions efficiently and accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and stock levels.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as required.
- Follow all airport security and store procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous sales experience is essential (retail, hospitality, or food industry preferred).
- Experience working with sales targets and a results-driven mindset.
- Confident, friendly, and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service and engaging with customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle busy periods.
- Availability to regularly work the 4:30 AM opening shift is essential. Preference will be given to candidates who are happy to work these early morning shifts.
- As public transport is available to Dublin Airport from early morning, candidates should be able to reliably travel to and from the airport for 4:30 AM starts using public transport or their own transport.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
