We're looking for a passionate and reliable Hot Chef to join our kitchen team and help deliver high-quality hot food products throughout the day. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in food quality, and wants to develop their skills within a growing business.
What We're Looking For
- Previous kitchen experience in food production
- A passion for preparing high-quality food and maintaining excellent standards
- Good knowledge of food safety, HACCP and hygiene procedures
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- A positive, reliable and hard-working attitude
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings and weekends
- A desire to learn and develop within a growing business
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and cooking Pret's hot food products to the highest standards
- Following recipes, specifications and food safety procedures at all times
- Ensuring products are available, fresh and presented to Pret standards
- Monitoring cooking times, temperatures and food quality throughout the day
- Maintaining excellent food safety, health & safety and hygiene standards
- Managing stock rotation and reducing waste through effective product management
- Supporting product ordering, deliveries and stock control processes
- Keeping all kitchen equipment and work areas clean and organised
- Working closely with the wider shop team to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Supporting the training and development of new kitchen team members
- Contributing to a positive, supportive and inclusive team culture
