Job Description:
Position Summary:
- Responsible for providing HR services & operational support to NortonLifeLock’ s International locations / regions within EMEA.
Principal Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for documenting and responding to general employee questions providing information, counsel and education to employees/managers on established HR processes and tools including and not limited to benefits, compensation, payroll, HR operations, Global Mobility, Recruiting & staffing and relevant HR events, being sensitive to regional practices.
- Requirement to process various forms and documentation related to human resources activities, Verification of Employment and Letters of Employment as appropriate.
- Responsible for the creation of and upkeep of day to day processes for your region.
- Maintain employee information on HRIS and manage additional responsibilities related to employee administration.
- Perform various ad-hoc data-cleansing tasks and other HR functions as assigned.
- Assist with audit requests as needed.
- Workday entries/changes within agreed SLAs and as per the Quality standards.
- Manage onboarding to ensure each new employee's first day is well executed.
- Responsible for exit process - voluntary and involuntary terminations.
- Advise on leave of absence policies and appropriate country laws to managers and employees.
- Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained (benefits, hiring, voluntary terminations and leaves).
- Liaising with global HR functions for data collation/additional info to complete task at hand.
- Responsibility for File room management, PF and statutory compliance administration
- Provide backup for the People Operations & Culture Manager as required.
- Develop trusted and strong relationships across the business.
- Work to deliver process and customer service improvements in areas outside of own area of operation with guidance and supervision.
- Work on additional People Operations & Culture projects when required, and assist with planning and roll-out of HR programs and initiatives.
- Help ensure NortonLifeLock’s company culture is a key driver in everything we do.

- Keep informed of legislation and industry best practices to ensure NortonLifeLock Inc. is compliant.
- May be responsible for intake and handoff of escalations or investigations, so discretion is required.
Minimum Requirements for This Position
- 2+ years’ experience in a Customer-Focused Operations or HR operations function, preferably in a tech start-up environment.
- Drive, energy, and lots of enthusiasm.
- Your excellent interpersonal skills enable you to build strong relationships with people.
- Strong written/verbal communication.
- Experience of providing guidance to stakeholder, employees and/or managers.
- Knowledge of software applications necessary to process documents, term notices, employee data information and analysis tools (MS Office, HRM systems). Workday experience an advantage
- Ability to handle sensitive issues and knowledge of compliance regulations, employment laws, and industry best practices helpful.
- Experience of implementing processes; streamlining processes and/or training on these processes.
- You are a team player with a sense of ownership and a “get things done” attitude.
Optional Extras:
- Experience of working in a global organization having peers/colleagues spread across the globe and being part of a larger “Human Resources” department would be very valuable knowledge.
- Working knowledge of working with HR Data, Compliance, best practices and philosophies helpful.
