KCMG is seeking an experienced Piping Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects across the pharmaceutical, energy, chemical, manufacturing, and industrial sectors while contributing to the delivery of safe, innovative, and high-quality engineering solutions
Key Responsibilities

Develop piping designs including layouts, routing studies, 3D models, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings based on P&IDs and project specifications

Select and specify piping materials, valves, fittings, supports, and associated components in line with project requirements

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, structural, civil, electrical, and instrumentation engineers

Participate in design reviews, clash detection, constructability assessments, and risk evaluations to ensure efficient project delivery

Provide technical support throughout fabrication, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning while ensuring compliance with ASME, API, ISO, and other relevant standards
Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related discipline

Proven experience in piping design within industrial or process engineering environments

Strong knowledge of P&IDs, piping layouts, isometrics, and pipe support design

Experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D/PDMS, Smart 3D, Revit, CADWorx, or similar software
- Knowledge of ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, and related piping codes
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
