KNOW THE ROLE
The BTA Cash Office Assistant will be a key support to the management team, to protect the company’s cash assets and maintain a comprehensive and strong retail audit trail, through effective reconciliation and performance of the Company’s cash office processes and procedures. You will also produce key sales reports, complete audit checks and ensure all daily and weekly deadlines are met. You will also provide an excellent customer led service that keeps this fast-paced store running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Issuing change to our internal customer
Reconciliation of our change float
Processing documentation from our audit bags
Compliance checks on POS transactions and refunds
Reconciliation of accounts
Reconciliation of office balances
Processing Lodgements
Internal queries from floor team members regarding POS issues
External queries from customers
PED checks
Filing documentation and admin
KNOW WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Attention to detail with strong ability to analyse numerical data accurately
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to build and manage relationships across all areas of the business
Proficient MS Office skills, with particular emphasis on MS Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, reconciliations)
Professional and polished telephone manner
Strong organisational and administrative skills
A flexible, can-do approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
