We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to join our team in South Dublin. This is a key role responsible for the effective planning, coordination, management, and delivery of works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
What You’ll Do
- Take overall responsibility for the planning, management, coordination, and delivery of works on site.
- Supervise and coordinate the concrete works team, ensuring all Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) requirements are met.
- Ensure all technical requirements and specifications of the project are delivered to the required standards.
- Manage site resources effectively, including subcontractors, plant, materials, and labour.
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractor activities to ensure works are completed in accordance with programme, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Review tender and contract information and provide input into potential construction solutions and methodologies.
- Monitor progress on site and work closely with the project team to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
- Attend project, site, and specialist subcontractor meetings as required.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
- Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance throughout the project.
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant construction qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in a Site Manager or similar construction management role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site operations.
- Experience managing subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials.
- Strong understanding of construction health and safety requirements and SHEQ procedures.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate site teams.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- A valid Safe Pass and relevant construction-related qualifications.
