We specialise in new builds, garden design, driveways, commerical premises clean ups/maintenance, playground/park construction, site clearance and pitch maintenance. There is a large variety of work available, and a diverse range of jobs.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced working foreman to assist our growing team on all projects. You would be reporting directly to the contracts manager. The successful candidate will have a key role in all aspects of:
· Groundworks and landscaping projects from start to finish
· Liase with the customers
· Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers etc
· Assist with project schedules and timelines
· Communicate regularly with team members and resolve any issues that may arise during each project.
Key Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and techniques.
- Ground worker experience in paving, drainage, blockwork, fencing, kerbing, ducting, excavation, soil movement, concrete works an advantage
- General machinery experience (dumper/digger/tractor etc) and relevant CSCS tickets
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Setting out levels, using lazer etc.
- Valid full driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve effectively.
- Proven track record in delivering infrastructure or groundworks projects.
- Education in Civil Engineering/Construction Management an advantage
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling required.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards on-site
