Global Salesforce Platform Lead

We are partnering exclusively with a global manufacturing leader embarking on the next phase of its Salesforce transformation. This is an opportunity to own the strategic direction of a business-critical Salesforce platform supporting commercial, customer service and field operations across multiple international markets.
This is not a traditional Product Owner role.
We’re looking for someone who has sat on the client side of a large organisation and understands how Salesforce can transform complex commercial businesses with extensive product portfolios, sophisticated quotation processes and multiple sales channels.
You’ll own the roadmap, influence senior business leaders and ensure Salesforce continues to deliver measurable commercial value across the organisation.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the global technology leadership team, you will become the business owner for Salesforce across CRM, Field Service and commercial sales processes.
Working with senior stakeholders, implementation partners and technical teams, you’ll define priorities, challenge existing ways of working and shape the future direction of one of the organisation’s most important digital platforms.
This is a highly visible role where commercial thinking is just as important as Salesforce expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the global Salesforce product and platform roadmap.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Technology leaders.
- Drive adoption of Salesforce capabilities across multiple business units and countries.
- Prioritise initiatives that deliver measurable commercial value.
- Translate business strategy into platform capability.
- Lead senior stakeholder engagement across a complex international environment.
- Balance local business requirements with a scalable global solution.
- Manage strategic Salesforce implementation partners.
- Champion continuous improvement across CRM, Field Service and commercial processes.
We’re Looking For
You’ll probably bring experience such as:
- 8+ years working in Salesforce leadership, Product Management or Business Systems.
- Significant client-side experience within a large enterprise environment.
- Experience owning Salesforce as a business platform rather than simply delivering projects.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and ideally Revenue Cloud or CPQ.
- Experience supporting businesses with large product catalogues, configurable products or complex quotation processes.
- Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, engineering, distribution, building products or similarly complex B2B organisations would be highly advantageous.
- Experience working across multiple countries and business functions.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Highly Desirable
Experience with one or more of:
- Salesforce Revenue Cloud
- Salesforce CPQ / SteelBrick
- Complex pricing and quotation workflows
- Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) platforms
- Field Service
- ERP integration (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor etc.)
