A busy multi-brand garage in East Cork is currently seeking to fill the following position:
Mechanic – fully qualified
Hours: Mon - Fri 9am to 6pm (40 hours)
Tasks/duties:
1. Diagnosis and fault-tracing.
2. Carrying out repairs on all kinds of vehicles of all brands.
3. Servicing all kinds of vehicles of all brands.
4. Preparation of vehicles for sale.
5. Carrying our Vehicle Health Checks, pre-NCT checks and pre-CVRT checks.
6. Training apprentices of all years in the SOLAS syllabus for mechanics, supervising the work of apprentices.
7. Work with Service Administration to ensure a timely and quality experience for customers.
Must have: Full SOLAS qualification in automotive mechanics. Full, clean Irish driving licence. Leaving Cert. Willingness to train apprentices.
Pay: €39,500.00-€54,000.00 per year
