We are seeking a Food and Beverage Duty Manager to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction, and supporting the seamless coordination of hotel services. The key responsibilities of this role are:

Promote and foster positive customer relations, ensuring the highest standards of service for all guests.

Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring prompt follow-up.

Be fully briefed on the daily and weekly business, ensuring effective communication across all departments.

Liaise with Department Managers and the F&B team to ensure smooth event execution.

Oversee the day-to-day running of all departments, ensuring they operate in line with company standards.

Actively manage food & beverage outlets (restaurant/bar) during service periods to ensure quality and efficiency.

Cover Front Office duties when required, including checking guests in and out and handling telephone calls.

Ensure adequate staffing levels by managing and adjusting rotas based on business needs.

Assist various departments when necessary to ensure smooth operations.

Motivate and encourage staff, recognising their efforts and fostering a positive work environment.

Direct and delegate tasks effectively, ensuring team members are clear on their responsibilities.

Assist in the induction and training of both full-time and part-time staff, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles.

Be fully competent in fire drill procedures and ensure all staff are trained accordingly.

Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of staff and guests by maintaining best practice standards.

Ensure compliance with food hygiene regulations, including proper food handling and allergen awareness.

Record and report any accidents or incidents that occur during your shift.

Complete Duty Manager checklists and logs, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.

Ensure adherence to cash handling and credit card procedures in line with company policy.

Attend training sessions as required to stay updated on industry best practices.
You will have:

2-3 years hands-on management experience with a strong background in Food & Beverage operations.

A genuine focus on exceptional customer care and the ability to ensure service standards are delivered consistently.

Ability and interest in motivating, developing and leading a team of employees to deliver on and exceed customer expectations.

Good time management and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends depending on the needs of the business.

Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and adapt to changing circumstances.

Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

Excellent level of English both verbal & written.

Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU.
