Position: Accounts Manager
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Role
24–40 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday

Blue Tiger is looking for a personable, organized, and detail-focused Account Manager to join our team.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role combining account management, customer experience, ordering, events and operational coordination.
You will manage a portfolio of Blue Tiger customers and work closely with their Office Managers, Workplace Experience teams and other key site contacts to make sure their workplace requirements are understood, organised and delivered correctly. You will take day-to-day ownership of a portfolio of Blue Tiger customer accounts and build strong working relationships with key customer contacts, becoming the person they can rely on for their pantry, hospitality, events and workplace requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Customer Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of Blue Tiger customer accounts
- Build strong relationships with Office Managers and other key customer contacts
- Communicate regularly by phone, email and in person
- Visit customer sites as part of the role
- Understand how each customer's office operates
- Understand staff numbers, office days, workplace routines and changing requirements
- Maintain accurate customer information, delivery requirements and account notes
- Proactively identify issues before they become customer problems
- Follow up on outstanding actions
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction and long-term relationships
- Look for practical ways Blue Tiger can make the Office Manager's job easier
Orders & Product Management
The Account Manager is responsible for managing customer orders and ensuring they are entered correctly and on time.
This includes:
- Managing customer standing orders
- Entering and maintaining customer orders within Blue Tiger's systems
- Reviewing quantities regularly
- Managing additional orders and customer changes
- Monitoring products that are running out
- Identifying overstock or products that are no longer being used
- Adjusting quantities based on changing customer requirements
- Coordinating new product requests
- Ensuring changes are processed within agreed ordering deadlines
- Communicating clearly where products, timing or availability needs to change
Blue Tiger's existing Order Handling SOP places responsibility for order entry and customer communication with the Account Manager, making this a core part of the role.
Events, Lunches & Hospitality
Our Account Managers also help customers arrange and manage additional workplace requirements.
These can include:
- Office lunches
- Catering
- Staff events
- Meetings
- Seasonal activities
- Special customer requests
You will:
- Take the initial brief from the customer
- Understand headcount, budget, timing and requirements
- Manage dietary and other specific requirements
- Identify suitable options
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal Blue Tiger teams
- Arrange ordering and delivery
- Manage changes and last-minute requirements where possible
- Make sure everything is organised correctly from start to finish
- Follow up and resolve any issues where required
Operational Coordination
The Account Manager is an important link between the customer and Blue Tiger's operational teams.
You will:
- Work closely with drivers, merchandisers, warehouse, procurement and operations
- Occasionally assist with deliveries of stock to clients
- Review feedback from customer sites and take appropriate action
- Follow up on shortages, overstock, delivery issues and customer concerns
- Coordinate customer requests internally
- Make sure the relevant teams have clear and accurate information
- Support the onboarding of new customers into operations
- Escalate issues when required
- Remain responsible for keeping the customer informed until the issue is resolved
We are not looking for someone who simply forwards emails between departments.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership and makes sure things actually get done.

Requirements
- Full valid driving licence
- Access to your own car for customer visits
- Strong spoken and written English
- Good computer skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work Monday–Friday
- Availability for 24–40 hours per week
- Comfortable travelling to customer locations as part of the role
Previous Account Management experience would be beneficial, but it is not essential for the right person.

Pay: From €14.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
