The Lakeside Manor is looking for a reliable and practical Seasonal Grounds & Parking Steward to join our team for the busy summer season.
This is a full-time, fixed-term role until September. It is primarily a daytime position, with weekend availability required and occasional evening work during busy periods, events and good-weather days.
The role would suit someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping areas clean and well presented, and is comfortable dealing with guests and visitors in a friendly, professional way.
About the role
This is a varied outdoor role supporting the day-to-day presentation and smooth running of the hotel grounds, car park and outdoor areas.
Duties will include general grounds upkeep, light gardening, litter picking, glass collection, bin duties, sweeping, powerhosing, recycling support and keeping outdoor guest areas clean, tidy and safe.
During busy periods, particularly weekends and good-weather days, the role will also involve helping with car park control, assisting guests and visitors, collecting parking charges where required, and providing a visible staff presence around the grounds.

- Flexible for occasional evening work during busy periods or events
Previous experience in grounds work, gardening, maintenance, hospitality, stewarding, parking, events or similar work would be an advantage, but a good attitude and reliability are most important.
