We are looking to recruit a Manufacturing assistant who will be responsible for assisting the Production manager in ensuring the proper running of our production lines. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic production team with a leading agricultural machinery manufacturer. The is a hands-on role that will require someone with initiative who can work well individually or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have forklift driving experience and will have previously worked in similar facility.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensuring welding/fabrication stations are properly setup and supplied with materials.
- Ensuring parts and components are controlled to avoid stock outs.
- Perform all duties assigned to you by your team leader/ supervisor.
- Operate machinery responsibly and efficiently.
- Comply with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Any additional responsibilities and duties which may from time to time are deemed suitable by your supervisor.
Educational Standard:
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
Experience:
- Forklift driving experience
1 year in an engineering production environment
