The main duties of this role will include but are not limited to the following:
- Increase OTC sales through link selling
- Advise and assist customers with all store products
- Engaging actively with customers and provide a high standard in customer service
- Merchandising, Stock management & product knowledge

- Ensuring the tidiness of the shop is to a high standard
- Handing out & taking in prescriptions and advising customers on their expected waiting time

The successful candidate should:
- Have a minimum 6 MONTHS PHARMACY OTC sales experience
- IPU Pharmacy counter assistant course a benefit
- Min 3 days per week to a max 5 days per week available on a fixed rota basis
- have outstanding customer service skills
- have a good knowledge of OTC products
- have experience in skincare and other pharmacy retail lines
- have fluent English and excellent communication skills
- be willing to work as part of a team but also able to take initiative
- have strong communication skills and have the ability to get along with a variety of different personalities
- have good prioritising, multi-tasking and organisational skills
- ensure confidentiality and be empathetic to the customer's needs
- be flexible and willing to learn
- have good attention to detail and strive for continuous improvement
- have an enthusiastic and positive attitude to work
Experience:
- Previous OTC Pharmacy Sales/Medical Sales experience is preferred but not essential
- Computer literacy is desirable
Position Terms:
- This position is available for 6mts. After that time there may be an opportunity to remain on with the company if the need arises and the candidate so wishes
- Flexibility can be offered around working days/times
