CHILDCARE MANAGER (Maternity Leave) Hunterswood, Ballycullen
A manager's position has become available at our Chuckleberries Hunterswood, Ballycullen, D24 VK44 (From August 2026 to May 2027)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To take day-to-day responsibility for children and staff & and to ensure high standards of
care in the centre & ensure an excellent standard of hygiene in the centre
To develop and implement curricula in line with Aistear and Siolta
Attend meetings and undertake training as required
Revise policies and procedures as required
Adhere to the Child Protection Policy of the centre and report any concerns
Maintain all records required by Pobal, Tusla, and HSE and represent the service
during Pobal, Tusla, and HSE inspections.
Network with appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies
To offer leadership and encouragement to staff and coordinate inductions,
appraisals, and training.
Be able to take charge and direct children and staff in case of an emergency
Maintain strict confidentiality and be able to communicate effectively with directors
and senior staff
PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS
Preferred Education Bachelors level 7 or higher in Early Years Childcare and
Education
Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisor's role with the ability to lead a team
Minimum 5 years experience in Childcare and Education
Kindness, warmth and responsiveness to the needs of the children
Excellent communication and relating skills with children, staff, and parents
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Safety and Children's First.
Have demonstrated a positive & and energetic approach to the team.
Ideally, a clean driving license
Job Type: Full-time permanent
Salary: From €36,500 plus
Schedule: 40-hour working week Mon-Friday (4.30 pm finish every Friday)
Pay: €36,500.00-€41,600.00 per year
