Role Overview:
We are seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager with a blend of legal acumen and commercial expertise. In partnership with the CFO, you will oversee the lifecycle of contracts, from negotiation to execution, ensuring that all agreements align with both legal and business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal contracts, including sales agreements, NDAs, distribution agreements, and other commercial documents.
- Ensure contracts comply with legal regulations and company policies, while minimizing risk.
- Act as the key liaison between legal counsel, internal teams, and external partners.
- Collaborate closely with sales, procurement, and finance teams to align contract terms with commercial strategy.
- Maintain a repository of contracts and manage deadlines, renewals, and compliance milestones.
- Provide guidance on contractual rights, obligations, and risks to stakeholders.
- Develop templates and processes to streamline contract management.
Key Requirements:
- Legal background (e.g., paralegal certification, law degree, or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in contract management within a commercial setting.
- Strong negotiation skills with an understanding of business operations.
- Ability to balance legal risk with commercial outcomes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with contract management systems is a plus.
