We're now looking for a Contractor Services Team Lead to join our Talent Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operations or contractor services professional to lead the day-to-day management of contractor support while ensuring an exceptional experience for contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
The Role
As Contractor Services Team Lead, you'll be responsible for overseeing contractor operations across the full assignment lifecycle. You'll act as the key operational contact for contractors and clients, ensuring seamless onboarding, accurate administration, timely processing of timecards and invoices, and outstanding customer service.

- Build trusted relationships with contractors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support throughout the contractor lifecycle, from onboarding through to assignment completion.
- Conduct regular contractor check-ins to support engagement and resolve issues proactively.
- Ensure contractor records remain accurate and up to date while escalating risks where appropriate.
Timecard & Contractor Administration:
- Manage the end-to-end timecard and timesheet process.
- Monitor submissions, approvals, and deadlines to ensure contractors are paid accurately and on time.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies with contractors, Payroll, Finance, and client approvers.
- Maintain accurate reporting and introduce controls that minimise payroll errors and revenue leakage.
Invoicing & Financial Operations:
- Prepare and validate client invoices, ensuring accuracy against approved timecards and contractual terms.
- Reconcile purchase orders, contractor records, and billing information.
- Support month-end reporting, forecasting, accruals, and financial reconciliation.
- Monitor invoice approvals and proactively resolve billing queries.
Onboarding & Operational Excellence:
- Coordinate contractor onboarding, assignments, extensions, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance requirements are completed before contractors commence assignments.
- Maintain operational trackers and ensure contractor files are accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
- Continuously review processes and introduce improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and takes pride in delivering an exceptional customer experience.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience within Contractor Services, MSP, RPO, recruitment operations, workforce administration, or a similar operational environment.
- Strong experience processing high volumes of timecards, invoices, and contractor administration.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- Experience working closely with Payroll, Finance, Credit Control, or billing teams.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for improving processes and delivering operational excellence.
Why Join Morgan McKinley?
