Logistics Implementation Engineer

As we continue to grow, we are seeking to hire an Logistics Implementation Engineer to assist with the management of our technical assets (for example our Everhub Wireless Server) and to help with deliveries to clients.
The Role

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Implementation Manager, the Candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Packing and fulfilling orders, ensuring all orders are shipped in an efficient, accurate and timely manner - proper handling, labeling, packaging, and classification
Support configuration and quality assurance of the IFE system on our award winning Everhub server
Communicating effectively with key stakeholders both internal and external - accounting, account managers, engineering personnel, regulatory agencies
Ensuring regulatory agency compliance for product shipments, experience with shipping lithium-ion batteries is a plus
Generation of export documentation for all export shipments in compliance with all relevant regulations
Update and maintain accurate information on inventory management systems, including asset management and tracking, and coordinate hardware shipping and receiving activities and associated administration
Complete quality checks on all outgoing shipments
Dealing with ad-hoc requests for deliveries and collections from all areas of the business
Other tasks/projects as assigned by Manager
Full hands-on training will be provided for the role.
The Candidate
This role requires a combination of technical expertise, organisational skills, and a proactive approach, including:
Bachelor’s degree
Pro-active approach and positive attitude towards the role
1–2 years’ experience in stock or inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics coordination
Experience in Inventory Management asset management
Experience with Atlassian Suite an advantage (JIRA, Confluence)
Good understanding of supply chain procedures
Experience in use of IT systems (additional training will be provided as required)
Experience in Quality Assurance an advantage
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
Have strong attention to detail with organisational skills
Bonus Experience:
Experience with hardware maintenance an advantage
Experience working with Linux operating systems
Additional experience in networking will be useful
Experience managing or handling dangerous goods is an advantage
Experience with web technologies and software development an advantage (Github, JSON, JavaScript)
