Key Responsibilities
Planning and Delivering Activities
Provide opportunities that encourage creativity, teamwork, curiosity, exploration and problem-
solving.
Maintain records for individual children, including daily observations, activities, meals and
medication administered.
Attend regular meetings relating to curriculum, activities and child development.
Maintaining the Childcare Environment
Support the cleanliness and organisation of the childcare environment, including laundry,
cleaning, dishwashing, sanitising toys and equipment, and changing linens.
Leadership and Professional Practice
Act as a positive role model, demonstrating respectful, kind and responsible behaviour, and
provide leadership and support to colleagues.
Maintain professional, ethical and responsible conduct.
Participate in workshops, conferences, team meetings and practical training relating to playwork,
safeguarding and other relevant areas.
