Company Overview: NorDan Vinduer are an established window and door company in Dublin 12 and are now seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team. Key Responsibilities:-
Assist in preparing and analyzing project costings and budgets.

Support senior commercial staff in tendering and procurement processes.

Monitor project variations and manage subcontractor accounts.
-
Prepare valuations and final accounts under supervision.
-
Liaise with site teams and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
-
Monitor project progress and prepare regular cost reports and forecasts.
-
Conduct valuations, manage variations, and assess contractor claims.
-
Ensure contractual and financial compliance across the project.
-
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on commercial matters.
-
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
Key Requirements:-
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

3-5 years’ experience in a QS or commercial support role.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general IT applications.
-
Eagerness to learn and develop within a supportive team.
-
Proven experience in a similar role within large-scale construction (main contractor) or engineering projects.

Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., NEC, FIDIC, or similar).

Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
-
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.

Proven ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.

Enthusiasm and results-focused, with the ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Effective negotiation skills with both internal and external customers.

Experience in windows are preferable.
