Dairy Farm Assistant (Full-Time)
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dairy Farm Assistant to join our progressive and well-managed dairy farming operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dairy farming experience who is passionate about livestock care and modern farming practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Milking cows and operating milking equipment efficiently and safely
- Monitoring animal health, welfare, and overall herd performance
- Calf rearing, feeding, and daily care
- Livestock feeding and grassland management
- Observing herd health issues and reporting concerns promptly
- Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
- Cleaning, maintaining, and ensuring high standards throughout farm facilities
- Assisting with general day-to-day farm duties as required
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working on a dairy farm
- Good understanding of dairy herd management and animal welfare standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and basic English proficiency
- Experience operating farm machinery is desirable
