We are now seeking an organised, proactive and student-focused Centre Manager to join our team.
Role Overview
The Centre Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the school, ensuring that students, staff, agents and visitors receive a professional and welcoming experience. This is a varied role requiring strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy international education environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the school reception and administration office.
- Act as a key point of contact for students, agents, group leaders and visitors.
- Support the student journey from enquiry and booking through to arrival, attendance, welfare and departure.
- Coordinate with academic, accommodation, admissions and activity teams to ensure smooth communication across departments.
- Create and organise Ministay programmes, scheduling coaches, activities, staff and associated services
- Manage administrative records, student files and internal systems accurately.
- Support compliance with school policies, procedures and quality assurance requirements.
- Assist with timetable, classroom and resource coordination.
- Respond professionally to student queries, concerns and complaints.
- Support busy seasonal periods, including group arrivals and summer programmes.
- Help maintain a positive, organised and welcoming school environment
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be:
- Highly organised, reliable and detail-oriented.
- Friendly, professional and confident dealing with international students.
- Able to work well under pressure in a busy school environment.
- A strong communicator with excellent spoken and written English.
- Comfortable working with administrative systems, email, spreadsheets and databases.
- Flexible and proactive, with a practical problem-solving approach.
- Able to work independently while also contributing positively to a team.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in administration, operations, student services, education, hospitality, tourism or a similar customer-facing environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong IT and organisational skills.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Desirable
- Experience in an English language school, international education or student services.
- Experience working with international students or agents.
- Knowledge of visa/immigration processes for language students in Ireland.
- Additional languages would be an advantage.
