Supervisor – ABA Preschool Academy (Tallaght)

ABA Preschool Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Supervisor to join our dedicated team in Tallaght. We provide high-quality early intervention and education for young children with autism in a supportive, collaborative and rewarding environment.

About the Role
As a Supervisor, you will oversee two classrooms (maximum six children per class), providing leadership, mentoring and day-to-day support to Early Childhood Educators while ensuring the highest standards of care, education and safety.
The role includes direct work with children, staff supervision, parent communication, classroom organisation, creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and supporting the implementation of Behaviour Support Plans.
You will work closely with the General Manager, BCBA and Behaviour Support Specialist to ensure the smooth running of the preschool.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of Early Childhood Educators.
- Ensure a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment.
- Oversee the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans.
- Support staff through coaching, training and regular feedback.
- Organise classroom schedules, staff rotas and daily activities.
- Liaise with parents and provide regular updates on children's progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation, communication records and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with Tusla regulations, school policies and health & safety procedures.
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum Level 6 qualification in a DCYA approved Early Learning and Care qualification.
- Registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland, or eligible for registration. (Teaching Council registration is generally available to candidates with a Level 8 degree, or a Level 7 degree with relevant experience under the Further Education route.)
- Applicants who completed their qualifications outside Ireland must meet the Teaching Council's English language requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with autism and leading a positive team culture.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in Ireland.
