Business Development & Marketing Executive – Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a driven and commercially minded individual to support the growth of our international student recruitment across global markets.
This role combines business development, agency relationship management and digital marketing execution to generate enquiries, grow enrolments and strengthen our international brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Build and manage relationships with international recruitment agencies
- Identify and develop new partnerships and market opportunities
- Respond to enquiries from prospective students and partners
- Represent the college at recruitment events in Ireland and overseas
Marketing & Lead Generation
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across key channels
- Manage social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X)
- Generate and convert leads through online campaigns
- Support content creation to build brand awareness and engagement
Digital Marketing
- Assist in the development and execution of the digital marketing strategy
- Work on SEO (on-page and off-page) to improve online visibility
- Update website content and optimise landing pages
- Monitor campaign performance and report on key metrics
Content & Brand
- Create marketing content including blog posts, social media content and promotional material
- Support development of visual assets (graphics, infographics, etc.)
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
General
- Assist with reporting and planning for marketing and recruitment activities
- Provide general administrative support as required
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Fluent English (C1 level or equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of two years’ experience in marketing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Proven ability to initiate and implement marketing strategies and sales tactics contributing to sustainable business growth
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing and people-focused personality
- Right to work full-time in the EU
Desirable
- Proficiency in a second language
- Postgraduate qualification
- Experience in sales and marketing within the tourism and/or education sector
- Strong IT skills, including working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Pay: From €30,000.00 per year
