We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Sales Executive to join our team within the food manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for someone with experience in sales, retail,or food service who is looking to develop a career in business development and account management within the food industry.
The successful candidate will support the sales team in managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our range of food products to retail and food service clients across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team in developing and managing relationships with retail andfood service customers.
- Identify and pursue newsales opportunities within the retail, hospitality, and food service sectors.
- Conduct client visitsand product presentations to promote the company’s food product range.
- Assist in managing existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customerfeedback to help inform sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams including production, logistics, and marketing to ensure smooth order fulfilment and product delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM records, and account documentation.
- Support promotional activities, trade shows, and product launches when required.
Requirements
- 1–3 years’ experience in sales, retail, food service, or hospitality.
- Strong interest in the food manufacturing and FMCG sector.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated, organised, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good commercial awareness and customer service mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic CRM systems is an advantage.
- Full clean driving licence required.
Desirable
- Experience working with retail stores, wholesalers, or food service clients.
- Knowledge of the Irish FMCG or food distribution market.
- Qualification in business, sales, marketing, or hospitality.
