Ideal Fire Ltd. supply, design, install, commission and provide certification on all life safety systems. We provide remote monitoring and maintenance on a wide range of systems.
The Role
This is an fantastic opportunity for a Fire Alarm Engineer to advance or begin their career in the Fire Detection industry. Training on all aspects of fire alarm installation, servicing and commissioning will be provided.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance on all types of life safety systems covered under contract.
- Utilise problem-solving skills to trace issues and conduct effective fault finding.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, specifically I.S. 3218 and I.S. 3217.
- Complete all necessary documentation related to maintenance works accurately and promptly.
- Liaise with customers to understand and fulfil their requirements.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively as part of our service team.
- Participate in the on-call rota to address service needs efficiently.
Essential Criteria
- Must have full Irish drivers licence for at least 12months and be over age 21.
- Demonstrate a self-starting attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- Capability to work both individually and as part of a team.
Desirable Criteria
- Prior experience in the Fire Alarm industry is an advantage but not required as training will be provided.
- Knowledge of I.S. 3218 and I.S. 3217 standards.
- Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
