Relief Social Care Worker

Future Foundations Support Ltd is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Relief Social Care Workers to support children's residential services across the Dublin region.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
- Build positive and professional relationships with young people, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
- Contribute to a safe, therapeutic, and trauma-informed environment.
- Support young people in developing life skills, education goals, and personal aspirations.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and care planning as required.
- Adhere to all organisational, safeguarding, and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Work as part of a team within a 24-hour residential service, including evening, overnight, and weekend shifts where required.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential:
- A recognised Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care or a relevant equivalent discipline.
- CORU registration, or evidence of application.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding, child protection, and professional care practice.
Desirable:
- Experience working with children and young people in residential care or a related setting.
- Training or experience in trauma-informed and attachment-based practice.
- Full Irish Driving Licence.

Rates of Pay
Monday - Friday Day Shift : €25 per hour
Saturday Day Shift: €27 per hour
Monday - Saturday Night Shift: €29 per hour
Sunday & Bank Holiday Rate: €50 per hour
