We are looking for a qualified Solar PV Electrician to join our expanding renewable energy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems in line with SEAI standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, wire, and commission solar PV systems (domestic and commercial)
- Install inverters, battery storage systems, and EV chargers where required
- Ensure all installations comply with SEAI grant requirements and industry standards
- Carry out testing, fault finding, and system maintenance
- Complete certification in line with Safe Electric regulations
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and system designs
- Work closely with installation teams and project managers
- Maintain high health & safety standards on all sites
Requirements
- Fully qualified electrician (QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate or equivalent)
- Registered with Safe Electric Ireland (or eligible)
- Experience in solar PV installation (preferred but not essential)
- Full, clean Irish driving licence
- Valid Safe Pass & Manual Handling
Desirable
- Experience working on SEAI grant-funded projects
- Knowledge of battery storage and hybrid inverter systems
- Experience with commissioning and monitoring systems
