We are currently seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our weekend team at a busy Joyce's Service Station in Athenry. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a warm and helpful service to all customers
- Operating the till and handling cash/card transactions
- Restocking shelves and maintaining shop floor displays
- Assisting with stock control and deliveries
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the store
- Adhering to all health & safety and food safety regulations
- Supporting the team during busy periods
Requirements:
- Previous retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- work weekends, and public holidays
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €14.15 per hour
