ST Automotive Solutions is looking for a skilled and reliable Motor Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has good attention to detail and can work independently as well as as part of a team.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and general mechanical work on a wide range of vehicles.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out servicing and routine maintenance
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
- Brake, suspension, clutch and timing belt repairs
- Carry out vehicle inspections and fault finding
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
- Complete repairs to a high standard
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Communicate professionally with customers when required
Requirements
- Qualified or experienced Motor Vehicle Mechanic
- Previous experience working in a garage/workshop
- Strong mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Full driving licence preferred
- NCT experience would be an advantage but is not essential
