Stauntons Hair & Beauty is looking for a friendly, organised and creative person to join our team as a Salon Receptionist & Marketing Coordinator.
This is a varied role combining the day-to-day running of our salon reception with social media, content creation and marketing support for both Stauntons Hair & Beauty and Stauntons Allcare Pharmacy.
Key responsibilities:
Salon reception and customer service:
- Welcoming clients and providing a friendly, professional experience
- Managing appointments, telephone calls and customer enquiries
- Taking payments and booking follow-up appointments
- Keeping the reception and retail areas clean, organised and well presented
- Supporting the salon team with the smooth running of the daily appointment schedule
- Promoting relevant salon treatments, products and special offers
- Assisting with retail displays, stock and general administrative duties
- Handling customer queries professionally and escalating issues where necessary
Social media and marketing:
- Creating and scheduling content for our social media channels
- Taking photographs and short videos of treatments, products, promotions and events
- Producing engaging Instagram Stories, Reels and posts
- Helping to plan promotional campaigns, competitions and seasonal content
- Creating simple promotional graphics and materials using Canva
- Keeping our social media pages active, current and consistent
- Responding to appropriate social media messages and comments
- Supporting the marketing of both the salon and pharmacy
- Helping to update promotional information across our website and online channels when required
The ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Is friendly, confident and comfortable dealing with customers
- Is reliable, punctual and well organised
- Has a genuine interest in hair, beauty, skincare and social media
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Is comfortable creating photographs and video content
- Has good attention to detail and can manage several tasks at once
- Can work independently while also contributing to a busy team
- Has experience using Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or Canva
- Is willing to learn about our treatments, products and brands
Pay: €15.00-€19.00 per hour
