Planner
Location: Mallow/Site
EPS Group has an immediate vacancy for a Planner to join our Contracts Team. The role will involve working on a number of live projects across the EPS spectrum of works.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Planning Manager in developing project schedules encompassing full project scope, milestones and timelines, from design to final site commissioning & handover.

Regularly liaise with project teams to review schedule progress, identify variances, programme impacts and propose corrective actions.
- Advise Project teams on programme risks and opportunities with clear site derived information.

Report schedule progress to internal and external stakeholders by developing and presenting concise programme presentations to Clients and Project Teams.

Develop tools and effectively communicate programme methodology and key milestones.

Monitor trends across projects.

Engage with the commercial team on matters arising during Contract delivery - from supporting project engineers with procurement from supply chain, negotiating subcontracts to managing commercial matters with Clients.

Advise senior management on resourcing levels and required programme outputs.

Aid the Planning Manager in the development of and participation in Planning Systems and Procedures
Requirements

Third Level Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering Degree/Diploma

3+ years' experience in mechanical & electrical field with the ability to review and interpret specifications.

Possess the ability to develop logic-based programmes from drawings and specifications.

Proficiency in Scheduling software (Primavera P6/ Asta Powerproject / OPC) preferable but not require

Have a willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater industry

Clean Drivers Licence
