Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Commis chef / Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Head Chef and sous chef to ensure good service, quality prep and profesional daily kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless and efficent service.
- Preparation and execution of a variety of dishes.
- Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation in all offerings.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Be able to foster a culture of teamwork, creativity, and excellence.
Requirements:
- A desire to work and progress in a busy and good quality restaurant environment.
- A basic knowledge of kitchen techniques and principles.
- Creativity and a passion for experimenting with flavours, textures, and techniques desired.
- Good organisational and time keeping skills with the ability to work collaboratively with the other members of the Kitchen team.
- Decent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
