Assurance Technology Risk – Graduate Programme
Technology Risk is part of our Assurance practice, helping clients manage risks linked to their IT environments. As a graduate, you’ll work across industries to assess IT controls, evaluate cybersecurity and data governance, and provide assurance over systems supporting financial and operational reporting.
You’ll gain insight into how businesses function, how technology supports strategy, and how to manage the risks that come with innovation. You’ll experience various work streams supporting EY clients in areas like technology risk assessment, software licensing, contract and third-party risks, design and operation of their internal controls, security of their business-critical systems & delivery of major IT enabled programmes.

Gaining a broad understanding of the IT landscape of some of our biggest clients, including their approach to cybersecurity, data protection, resiliency and software asset management.

Take part in client meetings and process reviews, working directly with teams to understand how they use key applications under the main processes manage access, change and IT operations. This hands-on experience will not only help to build professional relationships but also give you valuable insight into how technology supports core business functions.
As more companies rely on third-party SaaS providers, you’ll assess controls in fast-paced, tech-driven environments. Your work will help build trust in the systems behind the services people use every day. You will learn to apply best practice control frameworks to produce reports (SOC Reports) that are relied upon by users of the products offered by the third party.
