Operations Manager - Construction

About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organised Operations Manager experience in the construction Industry to oversee the day-to-day running of operations which involves managing multiple crews on a daily basis conducting window and door installation across a large variety of projects. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of staff, ensuring high performance and a positive working environment
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule works to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on time
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, ensuring materials are available when needed
- Liaise directly with customers, handling queries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions
- Ensure all work is carried out to company standards and health & safety regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in an operations or management role (industry experience an advantage)
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to manage teams and motivate staff
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of Windows & Doors and the installation and/or extensive carpentry/joinery experience
