Position Summary
Perfect Clean is seeking a proactive and organised Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day management of our cleaning operations. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring high standards of service delivery, maintain strong client relationships, and support the operational team through regular site visits, audits, reporting, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular site visits to ensure cleaning standards and contractual requirements are consistently met.
Carry out quality audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Prepare and submit weekly operational reports, including site performance, staffing updates, audit findings, and client feedback.
Support the day-to-day management of cleaning services across multiple client sites.
Assist with staff scheduling, rota planning, and ensuring adequate site coverage.
Supervise, motivate, and support cleaning teams to achieve high performance and service standards.
Provide training and induction for new cleaning staff and support ongoing staff development.
Respond promptly to client queries, concerns, and service requests, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Monitor stock levels of cleaning equipment and consumables, arranging replenishment as required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Investigate and resolve operational issues, escalating where necessary.
Assist with recruitment, performance management, and employee attendance monitoring.
Support the Operations Manager with planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of audits, site inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
Be available to travel between client sites as required.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in contract cleaning.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory or assistant management role.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Experience carrying out site inspections and quality audits.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites and priorities.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures within the cleaning industry.
Full driving licence.
