Role Summary
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll processes, and ensuring the smooth running of administration functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Management
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and payment runs.
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
- Assist with monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Prepare tax returns and support tax compliance activities.
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Trial balance reconciliation
Payroll and HR Administration
- Prepare payroll information for processing and ensure employee records are maintained accurately.
- Manage employee expenses and reimbursements.
- Support recruitment administration, onboarding, and personnel documentation.
- Maintain leave records and attendance information.
- Maintain company policies
- Ensure compliance with employment law
- Maintain the company pension scheme
General Administration
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and supplier relationships.
- Coordinate maintenance, utilities, and office services.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as required.
- Support senior management with ad hoc projects and administrative tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping, or office management role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial administration.
- Experience using an ERP system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Accounting qualification or bookkeeping certification (e.g., Accounting Technician, AAT, or equivalent).
- Experience with payroll administration.
- Experience working in a small or medium-sized business environment.

Pay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per year
