Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery Driver and Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This role involves safely delivering goods to customers, assisting with warehouse operations, and ensuring accurate inventory handling. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service while maintaining efficient warehouse and delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery Duties
- Load, transport, and deliver goods safely and efficiently.
- Verify delivery information and obtain customer signatures when required.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain delivery records and related documentation.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to traffic laws, site safety rules, and company policies.
Warehouse Duties
- Receive, unload, and store incoming stock.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock control procedures.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
Requirements:
- Age: 25 - 45 y.o.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous delivery driving or warehouse experience preferred.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Experience with hand tools and electric tools.
- Forklift certification is an advantage.
- Manual Handling Certificate(preferred).
- Safe Pass Certificate(preferred).
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- May require early starts or weekend work.
- Combination of driving and warehouse-based duties.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, and manual handling activities.
